Acute rhinosinusitis result from infection of the paranasal sinuses, most frequently caused by a virus and usually resolves without treatment in 7 to 10 days. Bacterial rhinosinusitis often lasts longer than ten days, and treatment with antibiotics often hastens recovery.
Common symptoms
Thick, yellow, foul-smelling discharge from your nose
